Acer unveils some new high-end gaming monitors (275Hz / 0.5ms)

Acer today announced new monitors that sit in the Predator and Nitro portfolios with three game monitors suitable for a wide range of gamers, from elite professionals who need the latest technology to casual gamers who play for fun.

In addition, Acer is the first to deliver TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified gaming monitors specifically designed to emit less high-energy blue light than LCD operating standards.

Predator XB273U NX

The Predator XB273U NX game monitor is for gamers looking for a leading gaming experience. The 27-inch monitor is packed with the latest game and display innovations and brings the game to life with a WQHD (2560 x 1440) panel, 275 Hz refresh rate (overclocked) and up to 0.5 ms response time ( G to G), which enables it to provide smooth and tear-free footage even when fast-moving objects are speeding across the screen. The HDR capability monitor covers 95% of the DCI-P3 spectrum to offer vibrant colors and deeper blacks, and its performance is further enhanced by Acer’s Agile-Splendor IPS[2] technology that enables crystal clear images, even from wide viewing angles.

Acer VisionCare 4.0 includes LightSense for adjusting the brightness of the monitor based on ambient lighting, in addition to AdaptiveLight, ColorSense and ProxiSense, a range of technologies that measure the ambient and ambient light to automatically adjust the brightness and color temperature of the monitor accordingly .
