The Miami Dolphins acquired attacking tackle Isaiah Wilson of the Tennessee Titans, According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. The agreement requires an unknown exchange of choice. Wilson was the overall number 29 in the NFL draft for 2020.
The former Georgia Bulldog appears in one game for the team that drafted him. He was twice placed on the COVID-19 reserve list for violating team rules for this week’s game in Week 13. As of February 16, Jon Robinson, Titans general manager, has not spoken to Wilson since joining. December was placed on the reserve list / non-football list. The 22-year-old was also arrested in September for a DUI. In a late-night message on February 22, it is suggested that the lineout intends to give up football. Wilson is the second prospect to be traded from the 2020 NFL draft. Miami also has wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. – a third round – acquired from the Raiders. He has three years plus a possible fifth-year option for a little over $ 5 million for his rookie deal.
The Dolphins have the ninth highest salary cap in the NFL at about $ 35.6 million. The franchise holds two selections in the first round, including overall number 3; acquired from the Texans as part of the trade for offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil.
