The fast-food chain In-N-Out Burger has been named the best restaurant to work for, in a new ranking compiled by the job evaluation website Glassdoor. In the site’s annual list of best places to work, In-N-Out comes in at No. 3, behind Massachusetts-based management consulting firm Bain & Company and technology company Nvidia. In doing so, In-N-Out has beaten major technology companies, including Google and Microsoft, in addition to competing in the restaurant industry.

The fact that a restaurant is a leading place for the best places to work during a global pandemic is no easy feat, as restaurants across the country have had to close the dining room, rework and use health and safety policies making pick-up and drop-off models. . Yet the civic chain has managed to deliver, employees say.
“Amazing people, incredible leadership, I feel cared for every day and we make the best burgers on the planet!” a supervisor at the fast food chain in California wrote on Glassdoor of the company.
THEY ARE THE BEST PLACES TO WORK IN 2021
Glassdoor’s 13th annual Best Places to Work list, released on Tuesday, ranked the top 100 companies (with at least 1,000 employees) based on employee ratings. In-N-Out achieved the No. 3 spot for the second consecutive year, after hitting the no. 4 and came in at number 7 in 2017.
Glassdoor’s list also includes other restaurants such as LongHorn Steakhouse (at No. 76) and Raising Cane’s (at No. 89). Grocery chains such as HEB (No. 10), Trader Joe’s (No. 35) and Wegmans (No. 36) also made the 2021 list.
Other hard-hit companies in the airline and travel space, such as Delta, topped the list at number 7, followed by clothing retailer Lululemon, which boosted online sales of sportswear demand.

The privately owned civilian chain has made headlines in recent weeks after two new sites were responsible for the recent coronavirus outbreaks in Colorado.
“We are working closely with our public health agencies to review and confirm that the proactive steps we are taking are appropriate and effective in protecting our communities,” a restaurant spokesman said in an email to FOX last week. Business said: ‘This includes limiting the number of co-workers and customers indoors, using “cohorts” of staff and responding quickly to identify everyone who has been in close contact with an individual who has tested positive and out of work to close.
