According to CDC data, nearly 53 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine are administered in the US

According to data released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Sunday, nearly 53 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered.

The CDC reported that 52,884,356 total doses were administered – approximately 72% of the 70,057,800 doses distributed.

This is about 2 million more doses administered since Saturday, for an average of seven days of about 1.6 million doses per day.

CDC data show that just over 38 million people received at least one dose of the vaccine, and about 14 million people were fully vaccinated.

Remember: Data published by the CDC may be delayed, and doses may not have been given on the day it was reported.
