The ratings and viewer numbers are available for this week’s NXT and AEW television programs (December 30).
PW Torch tweeted the results earlier tonight:
AEW drew 977,000 viewers (202K higher than 775K) last night. NXT pulled 586,000 (with 112K lower than 698K). 18-49 demo AEW surpassed NXT 0.40 to 0.12.

This is normally the part where I would compare the results with last week and touch on the recent trends briefly, but I think it is not necessary this time. You are definitely welcome to discuss any rating data in the comments below, if you wish.
For me, I will just focus on the fact that a whole bunch of pro wrestling fans have decided to end 2020 by honoring the life and legacy of a man who has touched the lives of so many people around him. The viewers were treated to what some people called a perfect show.
Here’s the hope that we will not have to look at such a one again for a very long time.
