It’s no secret that New York City, like many other places in the US, was not struggle with vaccine distribution by covid-19. One of the problems is that it’s messy online login site, which some city officials denounced as “Complicated, heavy and meager.” Officials said it would create a barrier for many people, especially for the elderly who are considered a priority group for vaccination.

It is true NYC Vaccine List come are. It was launched in mid-January. It is a user-friendly, user-created website that scans and groups together data on the appointment of vaccines from various locations, such as the websites of clinics, pharmacies and other locations. The website then presents the information on one page showing places with available vaccine appointments, places where there are no vaccine appointments, and places where the information is not up to date.

When vaccine-linked sites are found, the NYC vaccine list includes a sign-up button that takes users directly to the site of the site with availability. If it sounds simple people, it’s because it’s so, and it’s such a fresh air during a time when everything just seems harder. The NYC Vaccine List is also ideal because you do not have to click endless pages to find what you are looking for, unlike other sites.

As reported by the edge, the site tackles one of the biggest challenges of signing up for online vaccine appointments in New York: fragmentation. The outlet points out that a variety of entities, including the city, the state and hospital groups, distribute the vaccine and use various registration sites. This means that users, in order to find an appointment, have to check a variety of places that can be undeniably frustrating.

According to the store, software developer Dan Benamy experienced this chaos first hand and decided to reach out to friends and colleagues to try to create a solution. Within a few days, they compiled the NYC vaccine list, which currently contains the data on the appointment of vaccines from about 40 sites.

Over the past few weeks, Benamy has said the site has been viewed tens of thousands of times.

“The tools are there to get people to do amazing things, and we thought that if we at least had a chance to help, we would give it a try,” Benamy told the Verge.

However, their work on the site is not over. Benamy said their top priority is to get more information on the availability of vaccines and that they continue to build more tools to catch up on information from other places. At the moment, he said, the website provides information on appointments in the greater metro area and Long Island. It aims to provide more information about appointments in the area next.

As for New York City itself, Benamy said the volunteers would like to help in any way they can. They also welcome any information on the availability of vaccines that can be included in the NYC vaccine list.

The takeaway here is that while vaccine blasting is undeniably a difficult task, you no longer have to complicate it by setting up online mazes that allow people to navigate. If volunteers could do it, so could New York City and other places.
