A virtual human presented some of LG’s CES event

CES went completely digital for the first time this year. It is not surprising that some companies use the format change to experiment with their live press conferences. LG, for example, used a fully virtual human named Reah Keem to promote some of its products today. Wearing a hoodie with the slogan ‘always stay punk’, she explained that travel was an important part of her life, and how desperate she was to walk around the world and act again. Keem uses the desires to switch to the LG CLOi UV-C Robot, a machine already announced that uses ultraviolet light to disinfect public and popular areas.

“That said, however, it looks like it will be a while before we can hold performances and parties,” the fictional musician continued. “Until then, I’m going to call my studio and work on my videos and stuff.” After that, she turned to the latest LG Gram laptop, with the emphasis on thinner edges and high-resolution screen, a high-end monitor aimed at photo and video professionals. “Well, it’s for me now,” she concluded. ‘But stay tuned, because next is an exciting update on our beloved LG ThinQ. To you, Sam. Keem’s presence was unusual, but not entirely unexpected. LG has already announced that they are working on a virtual human and promoting its existence through an Instagram account.
