A fast tractor-driver in Southern California said he stopped a car with his craft during a police chase when he heard the man was a suspected killer.
Ahmed Shabaan said he was in his large truck in the Pomona area, east of Los Angeles, on Tuesday night when he became aware of the police chase – and that it involved a murder suspect – and decided to help by the alleged killer’s pickup while driving along the driveway, he told Hannity.

“I saw them chase him five times before where I hit him. I talked to my friend over the phone. I said to him, ‘Hey, a car is being chased like 40-50 police,’ and he was like, ‘Yes, that man is a murderer.’
Police are pursuing police after representatives of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department tried to confront the murder suspect earlier Tuesday night.
According to FOX 11 of Los Angeles, the suspect ran after one of the sheriff’s deputies before getting into his pickup and driving away. The chase allegedly lasted more than two hours before Shabaan’s truck and the suspect’s vehicle collided.
“He took left. So my intention was to block the whole intersection,” Shabaan explained, “but when my truck responded and he shot with his truck and I shot mine, we just crashed into each other.”
Sheriff’s department officials did not provide any additional information on the case in which the suspect was accused.

Police later arrested the suspect, after the bakkie collided with the tractor trailer, according to the report. Shabaan was not injured.
A passenger in the vehicle reportedly said she did not know the driver – who she said was a friend – was a murder suspect.
