A Texas real estate agent who was part of the tampered with Trump gang that attacked the U.S. Capitol said Monday she only follows Donald Trump’s orders, even as she faces federal charges for her part in the uprising.
“I have no guilt in my heart,” Jenna Ryan told NBC News. ‘I’m glad I was there because I saw the history. And I will never get the chance to do that again. ”
Ryan, who flew to Washington on a private plane, said she made the trip “in solidarity with President Trump”.
“President Trump has requested that we be in DC on January 6,” she said. “So that was our way of stopping the theft.”
Trump still maintains that the election was stolen by Joe Biden through massive election fraud, an unfounded claim that was repeatedly thrown out of court and wasted by the U.S. Department of Justice and state Republican officials.
He is charged with inciting the violent assault on the Capitol, and Trump has been charged for the second time. His supporters in the Republican Party and right-wing media insist he does not, claims the fight against Trump’s own words when he told supporters to fight like hell.
“I’m listening to my president, who told me to go to the Capitol,” she told CBS in an earlier interview.
Ryan told NBC that her “biggest concern” during the pre-attack on the Capitol was that “there were no portapots … Because I always want to know I have a bathroom in the area”.
She then left a trail of social media posts documenting her participation in the uprising, including a photo next to a broken window and a video of her saying, ‘We are armed and dangerous. That’s just the beginning. “
A live Facebook stream shows Ryan entering the Capitol, promoting her real estate business and saying, ‘We’re gonna go fucking in here. Life or death. ”
Five people were killed as a result of the attack, including a police officer who confronted Trump supporters, a rioting gunman by law enforcement and another Trump supporter who was crushed by the crowd.
Ryan, who is also a life coach and radio host, is facing charges of disorderly conduct and the fact that he deliberately entered a restricted area.
She told NBC that although she was at a mob that broke into the Capitol, where some rioters ran through offices and sought out lawmakers to kidnap and kill, some who threatened ‘Hang Mike Pence’, said, she did not advocate aggression.
“If you look up the term ‘storm,’ you can storm into the kitchen,” she said. “You can rush in and say, ‘No more.’ I’m not rushing to kill people. What I meant “Life or death” is when someone kills me, I will stand up for my truth, even if someone kills me. “
Like other members of the mob, Ryan asked for forgiveness.
It is unclear whether Trump will include any of the rioters in a list of about 100 people he plans to forgive in his last term. Allies warned against it.
Trump met with White House advisers, including his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner to finalize the list. According to CNN, this will likely include white-collar criminals and a tall rapper, among others.
Ryan said she would not hold it against Trump if there was no pardon.
“I will support him no matter what he does,” she said.
