A Samsung Galaxy A52 5G unboxing video is already online

The Galaxy A52 5G is likely to be announced next week at Samsung’s second Unpacked event of the year, but thanks to an early unboxing video released by GSMArena, we do not have to wait that long to see it in action.

The upcoming mid-range device has been the subject of many leaks over the past few weeks, and the YouTuber Moboaesthetics video apparently confirms many of them. The device in the video is similar to previously leaked versions and appears to be fully functional.

Specifications in the long video include a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 120Hz screen, IP67 dust and water resistance, a fingerprint sensor under the screen and a 4500 mAh battery. Unlike the S21 series, there is a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The A52 5G and also rumored A72 5G are expected to be paired with cheaper non-5G variants with other slightly downgraded specifications, such as a 90Hz screen rather than 120Hz. Having said all that, it’s looking like competing mid-range phones.

Samsung did not confirm exactly what it announced at next week’s event, but given the appearance of this video and the recent leaks, it seems certain that the A52 5G will make its debut soon.
