(CNN) – A tiroteo at a crime scene in Long Island, New York, killed an employee and killed two other people, and investigators were searching for the shooter, police said.
The curb at a Stop & Shop supermarket in the West Hempstead community, within 15 miles of New York City’s Queens District, will include the authorities.
Investigators are looking for a “person of interest” who “could be found” by a Stop & Shop employee, the police said.
“It’s a person of interest, a person of interest who is creeping up,” said Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, adding that “he left the scene and was killed by gunfire.”
Authorities say they have no motive for the shooting.
The tiroteo ocurrió in the office of the manager at a higher level of Stop & Shop, dijo Ryder.
A couple of tens of thousands of buyers are currently on the lookout, dijo, and the testicians say that the attacker has a small pistol, dijo Ryder.
The man was arrested 49 years ago, by the police.
The police are inspecting the area and the search schools are closed and they are said to be insuring their premises, said the spokesman for the Nassau district, Christine Geed.
