Respondents took her to an area hospital for treatment. Her husband, identified as the 23-year-old Moreno Valley resident Jose Luis Mares III, is charged with attempted murder, assault that caused grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, false imprisonment and a parole violation, the police said.
