A 90-year-old woman from Seattle walked 6 miles in the snow on Sunday after she finally got an appointment to get a coronavirus vaccine.
Fran Goldman said it was difficult to make an appointment for the vaccine, but it was a top priority for her as she wanted to see her grandchildren quarantined after months.

“I spent a lot of my time getting a vaccination for a vaccination and I finally got one on Friday late afternoon,” Goldman told Q13 FOX of Seattle. ” I woke up on Saturday from all the snow and thought ‘uh o’. I know our driveway is inaccessible in the snow. ‘
Parts of Seattle were covered with about 6 inches of snow after a winter storm flooded the area over the weekend.

Despite stormy conditions and dangerous cold winds, Goldman on Saturday tried to drive from her home to a hospital three miles away and got about two-thirds of the way before he was satisfied she would be able to travel the next day.
On Sunday, she undertook the trek and arrived slightly later than intended, but without any problems.

“I got my vaccination and then I was told I had to sit for 15 minutes and wait to make sure there was no response, and I said I was delighted to sit down,” Goldman said.
