Bruce Cassidy points to Bruins’ lineup as David Pastrnak against Vs. Capitals

Jack Studnicka was hit by a hit he got on Thursday, and Jake DeBrusk is not expected to be ready in time for Saturday’s game. With the preference not to use Par Lindholm as a wing in mind, it looks like we could see Karson Kuhlman riding a shotgun with David Krejci.

“Do not think Jake will be (Saturday) ready to go, so is this Kuhlman?” Cassidy said after Friday’s practice. ‘He’s in the taxi team, Jack was off the ice today, he was hit yesterday, will he be ready to go? Move our Bjork up and mess us up with the fourth line, who had a good game the other day. So there will be a bit of a domino effect based on the availability of a few players. ”

According to Providence Bruins, Reporter Mark Divver, Kuhlman, Anton Blidh and Steven Kampfer were all off the ice for the AHL team on Friday, meaning they could possibly undertake the big trip to Washington with the big club.

As Cassidy alluded to, much of this depends on the availability of some guys, and a clearer picture will only be focused after Saturday’s morning skates. So time will tell.
