A jealous woman was arrested in Mexico after she allegedly stabbed her husband in a blind rage when she found on his cell phone old photos of him having an ‘other’ wife, and did not realize the images actually was not of her.
The woman, identified only by police as ‘Leonora R’, was arrested last week after law enforcement officers were called to a house in Cajeme town, Sonora, for reports of a domestic dispute.
When officers arrived there, they found that Leonora’s husband, who was identified as ‘Juan N’, had been stabbed several times on his legs and arms.
The violent attack was allegedly unleashed after Leonora found explicit photos on Juan’s cell phone showing him having sex with who she believes is another woman.
Without giving him time to explain himself, Leonora allegedly started stabbing Juan over and over while hurling insults at him.
Police said Juan was finally able to wrestle the knife out of his angry wife’s hands and asked her what photos she was talking about.
He then explained to her that the photos were actually of him and Leonora that had been taken years before when they had just gone out.

According to Dora Politico, Leonora did not immediately recognize herself because the woman in the images was younger, thinner and makeup.
Juan told police he then explained to his wife that he had recently found the images in an old email and had stored them on his phone.
She soon realized that she was the woman portrayed, reports say.
Leonora was immediately arrested and remains behind bars pending charges.
The case was reportedly referred to the Public Ministry of the Attorney General.
The extent of Juan’s injuries has not yet been announced by officials.
However, the man was taken to hospital to be treated for multiple stab wounds, but he is expected to recover.
Police were reportedly notified at the scene after neighbors heard screaming and screaming inside the couple’s home.
