9 Tips for Guardians Outside You Must Remember

Outriders, the new shooter / RPG hybrid from developer People Can Fly and publisher Square Enix, is now available. If you just pick up the game, you’ll probably see that it’s pretty simple and that there’s not too much complexity to wrestle with. It is said that there are some features and mechanics that lighten up the game quickly or never explain it, and it is very useful. So, we’ve put out nine tips below to help you become a top outrider.

In addition to these tips, we have compiled many other Outriders guides. Check out more information about Outriders, available for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC and Stadiums. (The game can also be played via Xbox Game Pass.)

Lead with a fist

Sure, you have a lot of incredible superpowers in Outriders, but each class also has a pretty devastating attack. All the melee attacks have a secondary effect: the causes of the Devastator bleed, the Pyromancer causes, the Trickster causes slow and the Technomancer causes frost. In a pinch, these melee fights can save you if you lean against a wall and wait until one of your abilities recharges, but its primary use is offensive. And sometimes there is no better way to start your attack than to run straight to the enemy camp.

If you use a melee attack during a sprint, your character will jump into the air and land on the ground to provide an explosive area – a powerful opening after any attack, especially if you play as a tank – such as Devastator or crook like Trickster and wants to get closer anyway.

There’s always a better gun

In Outriders you find loot all the time and the game does a very good job of getting you to constantly dribble better and better firearms and weapons. Only stop selling old equipment early and equip the more powerful equipment. Not only will this help you tackle mini-bases and bases with an ideal power level, but you can also experiment with many different types of weapons. Do not get too attached to anything – trust us, there is nothing you will find in the early game in which you want 10 hours.

Reduce recycling recycling

After the introductory chapters of Outriders, you unlock the artwork. Here you need to pay a little attention to what you are looting. Keep upgrading to the best you have, but when you find rare or epic items (or, if you are really lucky, legendary items), take the time to look at the mods they have. If the weapons and armor are no longer right, you have to dismantle them instead of selling them. It gives you the mods on the items, which you can then manufacture on any rare or epic weapon or armor you get.

Loot is good, but it can be better

Make sure you change your equipment regularly. While some mods have common benefits, such as restoring health by adding death shots or fire damage to your guns, many of them are aimed at the benefit of specific constructions. You do not have to wait until the end game to form the desired playing style. Use every time you throw an old tool for something new (which you always have to do) to customize your favorite mods in your new gear so you can continue to dominate with your ideal style of play.

If you are a cheater and prefer to use Temporal Blade rather than Cyclone Slice, it does not make sense to equip gloves with the Healing Slice mod (receive health for every enemy killed with Cyclone Slice) over gloves with the Slasher mod (Temporal Blade) can be used twice before cooling, regardless of whether the former has a higher power level than the latter. But by manufacturing, you can transfer the mod on the second pair of gloves to the first pair – now you have the best of both worlds, more powerful armor and a mod that will truly benefit you. As long as you sell all the supplies you do not need and take a few seconds to exploit resources while encountering them in missions, you will be swimming in art supplies. Keep muddying your equipment.

Move to the loot

If you have any concerns about the loss of loot, you should turn on Outriders’ autoboat feature. Open the options menu and navigate to the game tab, where you should see a slider bar that you can customize to determine what kind of weapons and armor you want to loot.

Maintain your privacy

By default, Outriders will allow all players to participate in your game. If you do not want people to randomly jump into your game, you need to adjust your privacy options. Open the options menu and go to the game tab. From here, you should see an option to change your game privacy. You can customize it so that only your friends on the chosen hardware can join your game or quit your game completely, and require people to get an invitation from you to join.

Respect yourself

When you get up, you unlock points that you can invest in a three-pronged skill tree. You will not be able to unlock enough points to buy every skill in all three branches, but do not sweat things too much. You can not only respect your skill points whenever you want; you can also do it freely. So experiment with different skills and see what might work best for your chosen building.

On top of that, you can respect your skill tree to help your outdoor game if you farm for better equipment. Certain skills in each class’s skill tree make your character better with certain weapons and allow them to find those weapons more easily. The Trickster’s Assassin’s tree, for example, is filled with skills that increase the class’ effectiveness at short range, and the Trickster helps the guns find it easier to weaken the shop closer, such as Shotgun Master (increases 15% shotgun damage, increases shotgun weapons late chance decreases by 12%).

Considering how well the Technomancer performs at long range, you need to unlock the skill of the Sniper Master class as soon as possible.

If you’re curious, all four classes have a skill that helps them farm for assault rifles (Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns, Submachine Guns, and Double Guns). However, only the Devastator and Trickster have the skill to help them farm for shotguns (Pump Action Shotguns and Automatic Shotguns), and only the Pyromancer and Technomancer have the skill to help them farm for rifles and snipers (Marksman Rifles , Automatic Sniper Rifles, and Bolt Action Rifles).

Change the world, tear S ** t up

Just because you unlock a new World Level does not mean you always have to play at that World Level. You need to play as often as possible at the highest world level you have unlocked, just to make sure you still get outside drops that will increase your power. However, if you get stuck in a fight, just lower your World Tier, go past it, and then raise the World Tier again. There is no penalty for that, and it’s better than throwing yourself frustratingly to the same part of the game longer than you have to.

Claim your worldly rewards

Every time you unlock a new World Level, you get a new reward. To accept the reward, you must open the World Tier menu – it does not open automatically. Early on, your reward is not much to write home about, as it is mostly scarce equipment or resources. However, you will eventually start to get an epic and legendary loot. So do not forget to claim the rewards of unlocking powerful middle and late gear.
