CES 2021 hosted Acer announcing the new Predator Triton 300 SE with Intel’s latest 11th generation processors and NVIDIA RTX GPUs. If you’re looking for a sleek, subtle game notebook that does not have an unpleasant RGB lighting or heavy design accents, it’s about a sleeper like you can get.

Inside you will find up to an 11th generation Intel Core i7 H35 CPU. This capable processor can increase up to 5 GHz, enabling a high level of performance, especially considering the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. Acer’s dual-fan cooling solution should help keep everything cool, thanks to the company’s fifth-generation AeroBlade metal fan. All the goodness packed into the laptop easily provides content to the 14-inch screen of Predator Triton 300 SE, which can hit up to 144Hz.

VPN Offers: Lifetime License for $ 16, Monthly Plans for $ 1 and More

Even with all this power, the laptop needs to see more than ten hours before it needs to be charged, unless of course you plan to play. Acer is expected to release the new Predator Triton 300 SE in the US in March, starting at $ 1,400.

It was only a matter of time before one of Razer’s competitors would come up with an ultrabook game to compete against the Blade, and ASUS only announced it at CES 2021. ASUS managed to bump inside.

You can set this thing up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS CPU, up to 32GB LPDDR4x-4266MHz RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU and up to 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. Things get really interesting with the optional 4K screen, which can be powered with the ROG XG Mobile.

This device is an external GPU case with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 inside. What’s more, ASUS does not rely on Thunderbolt for this external GPU, but creates its own solution with a custom PCIe 3.0 x8 interface that connects it directly to the CPU. It is also capable of holding the laptop. This thing will be fast.

Lenovo has brought the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 to CES 2021, and we have yet to see anything of this year. The laptop has an e-Ink screen on its back, in addition to the traditional screen. Compared to the first generation laptop, this ink screen is much larger and more responsive and fits the main screen’s resolution of 2560 x 1600.

Not only is the ink display better, but Lenovo also works in a larger 16:10 main screen, Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos support on certain models. You can set them up to be an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, and it shakes its own pen that you can use on the laptop.

Oh, and did we mention that you can charge the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 i wirelessly? Well, you can use it with the optional Lenovo charging mat. The ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 i will be available in Q1 2021 with a starting price of $ 1,549.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga

Lenovo has released a brand new model for CES 2021 in the form of the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga 5G. This 2-in-1 laptop (with an included pen) is as thin as a tablet, packed with an 11th generation Core i7 processor from Intel, optional 5G connectivity and a remarkable 3: 2 aspect ratio.

As the name suggests, Lenovo uses real titanium on this laptop – specifically the lid. It’s cool to the touch, very light, but also incredibly resilient. Lenovo also uses its other familiar materials such as a magnesium base with carbon for the lower half. It’s light for a convertible and can do just as much as any other Windows laptop can do.

You can configure the laptop with an optional Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem (which drops back to 4G LTE if there is no 5G). The 13.5-inch screen is also attractive, as it is a 3: 2 aspect, which looks like what Microsoft uses in its Surface line. The 2256 x 1504 screen supports Dolby Vision with a decent brightness of 450 nets.

Touch and ink are supported, and you even get a Lenovo pen in the box. The keyboard may be a bit shallow for those using the ThinkPad series, but it’s as good as you’d expect from the enterprise. It is a sturdy portable workhorse, and one executive editor, Daniel Rubino, has been enjoying it for the past week.

ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga will be available from January 2021, starting at $ 1,899.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7+

So it’s not the coolest product, as it’s essentially a Surface Pro 7, but Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 7+ is a very important device for 2021. We’re all changed how we work and learn thanks to the pandemic , and Microsoft is willing to provide the means to do so with the new tablet designed for the enterprise and education sectors.

The most exciting changes for Surface Pro 7+ start with the SSD, which you can easily remove with a screw. Next up are the processors, now derived from the Intel 11th generation, which offer a 30 percent increase in processor performance and nearly 80 percent in GPU, thanks to the new Iris Xe graphics.

What’s more is that you can now order a Surface Pro with 32 GB of RAM. The version will not be cheap, as it is only available with a Core i7 and 1 TB of internal storage, bringing the price to $ 2,800. Finally there is 4G LTE. This is not Surface Pro 8, but merely an edition of the Surface Pro 7 designed for business and schools.

MSI Creator 15

MSI announced the Creator 15 at CES 2021, and we’re always excited to see dedicated workstations for those in need of extra design and video space. Because it’s focused on creators, you can pair this laptop with an Intel Core i7-10870H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Max-Q GPU.

It has a 15.6-inch 4K True Pixel panel verified by Calman and covers 100 percent AdobeRGB. It is used with the new graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series. It also has a 99.9Whr battery, which is just less than the 100Whr maximum the TSA allows for checked bags. Although we do not know when the Creator 15 will be launched, MSI has said it will start at $ 1,899.

MSI Summit E13 Flip

To go along with the new Creator 15, MSI also announced its first 2-in-1 laptop in many years without a discrete GPU. The Summit E13 Flip, focused on business and professionals, features a fine ink pen and a CNC-milled chassis in white or black (with a rose gold pattern). It looks smooth, but also not flashy.

The 13.4-inch full HD screen is not the best, but at a 16:10 screen aspect ratio with 100 percent sRGB color accuracy with touch, it should be more than enough for those who focus on writing and business. Inside, MSI has gone up to an Intel Core i7-1185G7, which can upgrade to 4.8 GHz and works at 28 watts.

Interestingly, in addition to the up to 1 TB storage option, MSI also offers models with 32 GB LPDDR4 RAM. While some laptops like the XPS 13 have this option, most 13-inch Ultrabooks do not have it, instead of 16 GB. This enables the Summit E13 Flip to use software with ease.

The Summit starts at $ 1,599 for the Core i7, Intel Xe graphics, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. But it’s about $ 115 cheaper than a similar Dell XPS 13, so there’s usually the savings on MSI. The next model jumps to 1 TB of storage and 32 GB of RAM for $ 1,899. Look for the MSI in different markets in the coming weeks.
