A seven-year-old girl was shot dead this weekend while waiting in a queue at a McDonald’s driveway in Chicago. The child’s father was also shot, but survived the attack.
The alleged motive behind the attack has not yet been revealed by police officers, but the car was found covered in bullet holes, indicating that it was aimed.
There were at least 30 shell casings outside the vehicle after the shooting, a report from CBS Chicago said, pointing out that the tinted windows on the sides of the vehicle were also blown out.
The young Jaslyn Adams was hit several times in the upper body. She was rushed to a hospital by a local police officer but succumbed to her injuries. Her father, 29-year-old Jontae Adams, was also shot, though he survived.
There were no marches or protests for the life of innocent Jaslyn, a black seven-year-old, by Black Lives Matter activists. And when Chicago Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot commented on the horrific shooting, she was referring to the so-called ‘gun violence’, which leaves the child’s race out of account.
“I am saddened and angry that a 7-year-old child was killed this afternoon on the West Side of Chicago,” Lightfoot reported Sunday. “This unthinkable act of violence has no place here. The epidemic of gun violence that is shortening our children’s lives cannot continue.

One major criticism of the left-wing Black Lives Matter movement is the group’s refusal to focus on all innocent black lives, instead of seeking out controversial and politically appropriate issues that help, for example, their goal of defending the police nationally. , to promote. Black-on-black crime is completely ignored by the movement because it does not fit their agenda.
Earlier this month, a Rochester, New York resident called out BLM activists for ignoring crime in the city if it did not involve police. “If the police were to kill us at the rate we were killing ourselves, I suspect this city would be on fire,” said Rudy Rivera, chief executive of Rochester’s Father Laurence Tracy Advocacy Center in North Clinton Avenue.
Rivera remarks on the protest he saw this summer in response to the death of a black man named Daniel Prude after a police interaction. The activists who sparked the protests – and many nights of destructive, violent riots in the city – are nowhere to be found as the murder in Rochester continues.
“If we kill ourselves, I say to myself, where are the protests in this street?” “Rivera questioned those activists. ‘Where are the people within our own community who know what’s going on here?
