Songpocket (for iPhone and iPad) can be plugged directly into the Music app on your phone or tablet, giving you more control over how your music is arranged. In other words, you do not have to comply with the automated ordering and grouping that Apple imposes on you; you can put your favorite artists on top, group albums together as you like, and so on.

The app works with anything within the standard Music app, whether synced from the Apple Music Stream Catalog or imported from elsewhere. When you open the app for the first time, you see all your music by artist name, and from there you can start arranging the lists and moving albums between groupings you have created yourself.
