Yesterday, Lenovo dropped a serious discount on the newly released ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook, but to take up the deal means you have to qualify for a Lenovo Pro small business account. Today that is no longer the case. If you go to Lenovo.com, you’ll see that you can save as much as $ 521.15 when you buy the AMD powered premium convertible, and you can save even more with one simple trick.
The current offering for the ThinkPad C13 Yoga includes a Ryzen 3 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. That model does have a backlit keyboard and a built-in USI stylus, but you do not get the fingerprint sensor on board which is becoming more common on premium Chrome OS devices. For a more rugged Chromebook experience, you can grab the Ryzen 5 model that packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of NVMe storage with zipper, and it has a fingerprint sensor. This model sells for $ 1,179 and is probably a good choice for users accustomed to the performance of devices such as the Acer Chromebook Spin 713.
For the power user who is looking for the best of the best, the Ryzen 7 model is where it is. This configuration doubles the RAM and storage to 16 GB and 256 GB respectively. On top of that, this particular model adds a crisp 4K screen. Although we’ve argued that UHD is too much on a Chromebook under 14 ″, it increases the brightness to 400 only, and that’s a very popular feature on a premium laptop. This Chromebook has just about everything you could ever want on a laptop. Fingerprint sensor, guaranteed / rechargeable USI pen, Radeon Graphics and enough internal horsepower to handle almost anything you can throw at it. With an MSRP of $ 1,489, the purchase of this Chromebook is a serious commitment, but at the moment you can take one home for only $ 967.85, and it does not hurt that the C13 will continue to receive updates until June 2029 not.
