5,000 Johnson & Johnson doses aged 18-24 years

Oakland County is setting aside 5,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine Johnson & Johnson for residents aged 18-24 to ensure that college students are vaccinated and not spread the virus.

The Oakland County Department of Health made the announcement after Oakland University said students living on the Rochester campus would need a COVID-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile, the province will hold 15 COVID-19 vaccine clinics by appointment only the week from Tuesday, April 6 to Monday, April 12 in the following communities: Holly, Rochester, West Bloomfield, Southfield, Hazel Park, Waterford, Pontiac, Royal Oak Congregation and Novi .

  • Number of elderly residents who received the first dose: 154,481
