It appears that a global pandemic will not stand in the way of the Super Bowl celebrations.

On Friday night, several musicians hosted concerts and parties in and around Tampa, Florida in anticipation of the annual sporting event.

Many of the events are advertised as COVID-conscious, though many of the photos and videos taken during the functions indicate that partygoers are wary of the wind while enjoying themselves.

DJ Steve Aoki also hosted a pre-Super Bowl party at the WTR Tampa pool at the Godfrey Waterfront Hotel, which TMZ treated.

The organizers of the event pointed out that masks had to be worn and that everyone had to keep six meters apart.

However, the footage of the event showed that no protocol is being followed by anyone in particular.

The 43-year-old DJ and producer also came into close contact with his fans to spray champagne over them.

Rappers French Montana and Rick Ross co-hosted an event and shared several videos to their respective Instagram Stories.

It has not been seen that the majority of the artists or the present fans adhere to any coronavirus security protocols.

The memorable rapper once took a video of himself with a face mask; he later removed his protective cover during the show.

On Thursday night, Tory Lanez hosted a pre-Super Bowl event at the same venue that Aoki would occupy an evening later.

The 28-year-old songwriter also documented the event through his Instagram Story and pointed out sharing numerous photos of the party that are not socially distanced.

Many fans traveled from across the United States to attend the Super Bowl and other functions at the annual sporting event, and many public officials were concerned that the increased social interaction would only contribute to the further spread of COVID-19.
