As spring training begins Wednesday, we get a chance to see some of the Angels ’prospects compete for a spot on the opening day list.

In this article we will examine which of the young Halos players you are likely to see play in Anaheim this season. Not everyone will pick it up right away, but these are the players I’ll probably be in ‘The Show’ before anything is said and done in 2021.

The next Angels forwards could play in Anaheim at some point this season.

This list may change before the season, as the English may not be done with the outdoors.

As Angels general manager Perry Minasian said he feels the team is in a ‘decent place’, it appears the Halos are ready to open their spring camp with the current group of players. Yet the display of this young talent could increase their trade value in the next few weeks and during the regular season.

If the Angels compete for the deadline, it could result in one or more of these young players being moved to help an impact player in a playoff race.

Yet it is further down the road. The Angels were awarded the 23rd best baseball system by Keith Law of The Athletic (entry required).

The raw talent is there, but their tools need many representatives at higher levels before they are ready for the big leagues.

Here is a list of the five prospects you will see in Anaheim this season.
