Williams is expected to be a big draw for free agencies. NFL Network reported this morning that the offensive linebacker was not even there. He was on vacation in Mexico, but has since returned.
San Francisco traded on the draft for Williams last year. After spending a free year of football, he replaced a retiring Joe Staley at the left exit. Williams had an excellent season and was Pro Football Focus’ most attacking and second highest offensive lineout.
Williams turns 33 in July, but expects to play for many more years.
“I’m definitely ready for another, in my opinion, six seasons that I can play at a high level,” Williams said recently. The Cris Collinsworth Podcast while chatting with teammate Richard Sherman. “That’s kind of the way I look at it.”
