49ers’ George Kittle has a simple message for Jimmy Garoppolo opponents

George Kittle has made it clear time and time again, also earlier this week, that he has confidence in Jimmy Garoppolo as the 49ers full-back moves forward.

You can see the 49ers’ tight end is getting tired of constantly answering questions about his teammate, but he does it to the best of his ability.

While there is a large group of the 49ers Faithful who want to move on from Garoppolo this season, Nick Friedell and Sean Salisbury were asked on 95.7 The Game on Wednesday if he has a message for the people who want a fresh start with a new quarter next season.

“My answer is as a footballer, that’s why we are footballers and people do not watch.” Kittle told Friedell and Salisbury on the show “Damon, Ratto and Kolsky”. “Just the fact that he went to the Super Bowl a year after tearing his ACL and playing like he did and the level at which he played. If a man has one good season and he can not do well again do not play, I understand that.

“But Jimmy throws an incredible ball and he has all the other qualities you want in a starting quarterback, and so that’s what I have to say about it. I do not think we can come to the Super Bowl without him. If you takes his name if he does not reach his win-loss record, and you compare him to when he does not play, I do not know how you choose his record over the last.

Kittle made it clear to Friedell and Salisbury that he believes Garoppolo will be the 49ers quarterback in 2021, and he also defended general manager John Lynch and coach Kyle Shanahan because they were at the quarterback.

“I know John Lynch and Coach Shanahan both arrived and said Jimmy is our man. That’s why I put my trust in the two guys because I think they’ve made incredible decisions since they were with the Niners,” he said. Kittle said. “I only know from personal experience that Jimmy is a man who attacks every day. Whether he has a bad game or a great game, he comes in the same man the next day and he brings guys along and he just does it. on a He never points fingers at us, but always gives the blame.

“I think the expectation is to be the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers. I think, as you said, if he plays well, people love him. And he may have had a bad throw, people want him under the bus throw and I I think it’s crazy because there’s a lot of limelight to be the starting quarterback for the Niners and I think he handles it all at an incredibly high level. And like I said, he brings guys along, he expects greatness of his teammates and when he plays on the field guys at a high level.I think I have talked more than enough times about his leadership abilities and I think, just like John and Kyle said, he is our quarterback and he is the man who’s going to lead us to the Super Bowl. ‘

Some 49ers fans have seen enough of Garoppolo to come to the conclusion that he cannot lead the team to a Super Bowl title. But Kittle is clearly begging to make a difference and he will play with the 29-year-old quarterback as long as they are teammates.

It’s up to Lynch and Shanahan this season to determine if they can pick up the best in Garoppolo, or if it’s time to go to another veteran caller or set up the next franchise quarter.
