Today, Monday, March 8, the Day of the Woman celebrates. Concurrent with its commemoration, the Superior College of Pharmacists of Rioja will revise the essential support of all pharmaceutical women to increase the health of all persons, as well as their contribution to society’s support.
With this wine and its title, Pharmaceutical Women’s Transforming the World, the General Council of Pharmacists’ Superficial Colleges has compiled an infographic showing the presence and functions developed in Spain of the 53,892 pharmaceutical women’s active the profession and that contribute, among other aspects, to the complement of the Objectives of Sustainable Development (ODS) of the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations 3 –salud y bienestar- y 5 –igualdad de género-.
First line
Specifically, in La Rioja there are 337 pharmaceutical women – 72.6% of the college staff are women – of which the health professionals are the most knowledgeable and accessible to citizens; and his “talent, effort and knowledge” result is inexplicable for Spain having one of the best sanitary systems in the world.
Of all those, 240 performed their services in the network of 156 communal pharmacies of the province, and since the pandemic began its existence on the first line; at the bottom of the canyon so that no one can take care of it; adhering to places the most vulnerable people; impedes the collapse of other sanitary resources.
Other pharmaceutical drugs are dedicated to the investigation and doctrine, industry, or participatory distribution, among other activities, in the development of the Spanish vaccine against coronavirus; producing essential medicines; guaranteeing its summit and avoiding malpractice.
For its part, a group of pharmaceutical workers work in hospital pharmacy services, guaranteeing the safe and efficient use of medicines, and actively participating in multidisciplinary teams.
While the pharmaceutical specialists in the clinical laboratory – analysts, biochemists, immunologists and microbiologists – are essential in the diagnosis and follow-up of the nurses.
Among the main areas of activity, there are also pharmaceuticals that carry out public health work, fundamentally in health protection matters (food security and ambient health); promotion of racist drug use; the prevention and protection front of the Covid-19.
Ultimately, there is an unconditional response and no limits to the Collegiate Pharmacological Organization in return, including a firm commitment of support to all women who suffer from any type of malady, which materializes into different actions as actions from 2018.
