According to MyDrivers, Hong Kong customs seized the GPUs of crypto-mining in a smuggling attempt – but that’s not what you should do if China banned crypto-mining farms in some regions. There have been large increases in the demand for electricity from cryptocurrency farms which enjoy cheap electricity prices in many regions of China.

About 65% of the global mining power needs are estimated to be supplied by China, which is why the government has hit quite hard on crypto-mining farms. The 300 new NVIDIA crypto-mining GPUs were seized, with entry-level CMP 30HX in large quantities.

Now just imagine that you see all these crypto-mining cards and can do nothing about them – you can not use them as graphics cards because they have no version – and you know that there are 300 of them, so crypto- mining with electricity cheap = fool not to do it.
