3 women arrested in connection with attack in Popeyes restaurant

LANTANA, Fla. The sheriff’s office in Palm Beach County has arrested three of four women who they say were involved in an attack and robbery at a Popeyes restaurant in Lantana, authorities announced Friday.

Brianna Toombs, 19, Chloe Arieigha Hernandez, 21, and Joanna Ceidi, 19, all of West Palm Beach, were arrested on charges of robbery with a weapon and burglary with assault or battery.

According to delegates, the women were in the driveway of a Popeyes in the 7000 block of Seacrest Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon when they had an oral argument with the cashier.

What happened next was captured on cell phone video.

Delegates said the suspects spat and attacked the employee who was working on the driveway.

Two of the women got out of the car and attacked two other employees in the restaurant, authorities said.

One of the women is also accused of grabbing inside the door window and grabbing cash from the register.

According to authorities, all four women got back into their car and drove away.
