The Kane County Department of Health today proposed three options for residents 65 and older to get a COVID-19 vaccination shot.
“Fighting the COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for everyone – especially older adults,” health officials said in a news release. “Effective vaccines have been developed and distributed (by hospitals, health clinics, pharmacies and the Department of Health) to protect the public against the virus.”

“As the vaccine becomes more widely available, it will be provided in different places (employers, doctors’ offices, pharmacies,” said health officials. “We will do our best to provide you with the latest updates.”
