3 dead, including gunman, after a home invasion in Wisconsin

Three authorities have been killed, including a man who exchanged shots with deputies after a home invasion in eastern Wisconsin, authorities said.

A man in a residence in the city of Kewaskum called 911 on Wednesday afternoon after a man forced him into the Washington County home and demanded keys to a vehicle, authorities said. The man then fatally shot a resident of the home before officers showed up.

A neighbor who heard the gunshots, calling 911 to report a man with a gun, walked to his or her home, officials said. Delegates from the sheriff showed up and exchanged gunfire with the man who then ran away.
