3 COVID-19 Mega vaccination sites in NJ close due to snowstorm

NEW JERSEY – Government Phil Murphy has announced that three COVID-19 vaccines will close Sunday due to the blizzard that is about to hit New Jersey.

Appointments scheduled for Sunday have been moved to dates within the next week.

The other three sites will remain open.

Individual healthcare providers will reach out by phone, email and / or text message to reschedule any Sunday appointments on the closed mega-sites, Murphy said.

The vaccination center will remain open from 08:00 to 20:00 to pre-register people, answer questions and plan first dose appointments.

To reach the vaccination center, call: 855-568-0545.

Murphy took the action because a winter storm warning Sunday for 16 counties was in effect for New Jersey’s second winter storm of the week, which brought up to 8 inches to the Garden State. Read more: Weather in NJ: latest snow estimates as warning of winter storm
