Twenty-three people died in Norway, days after being vaccinated with the first dose of Pfizer Covid-19. 13 of them were nursing home patients and they allegedly died due to the side effects of the vaccine.
Weak and delicate patients are prone to common reactions such as fever and nausea, according to a chief physician at the Norwegian Medicines Agency. The 13 patients of the nursing home were at least 80 years old and this raises a question about who should get the vaccine.
The Covid-19 vaccines Pfizer and Moderna appear to be low risk, but attenuated patients are an exception. A total of 29 people had side effects due to the vaccine and 13 of them died. Apart from the 13 patients, nine others had serious side effects, such as severe fever and allergic reactions, while seven others had less serious side effects.
In Norway, at least 30,000 people received the first shot of Pfizer or Moderna since last month.
