In October 2020, GMC launched an electrified delivery version of the classic Hummer. Now, we’re looking at the 2024 GMC Hummer SUV for the first time, which came in the form of a teaser ad during the NCAA’s Final Four March Madness event.
Keep in mind that this is just a spray – 90 whole, whole seconds. We look at the exterior of the car and see it next door with the Hummer truck in the short clip issued by GMC, with more details to be announced in the near future.
The GMC website and press release give us most of the hard numbers in fact:

The design appears to be largely borrowed from the truck itself, with the exception of the enclosed rear section. We have a large cargo area with a spare wheel on the tailgate. It has the same impressive attitude as the predecessors of Hummer. And use GM’s Ultium batteries. The SUV is likely to start with a range of about 250 kilometers, with more expensive models of more than 300 kilometers. And it is likely that you will have the choice between two or three electric motors, depending on the finish, which offers varying levels of torque for the main obstacles you will encounter on the route.

The clip is a preview of CrabWalk Mode, a form of four-wheel drive that allows you to easily navigate through obstacles, and Extract Mode, which lifts the SUV almost six inches by means of air suspension to give you that important extra clearance for a great conquer obstacle. The clip shows it in a very superhero-like way, with the Hummer SUV crashing into the middle of a city street before pulling itself out of the rubble.
And of course, it comes with the Watts to Freedom launch mode, which is basically a cool party trick that lets the SUV shoot from 0 to 60 km / h in 3.5 seconds.
Other than that, it’s all for debate. Issue 1 of Hummer truck goes on sale this fall with the lower trim models subsequently released in waves. Issue 1 of the SUV will be released in early 2023.
