Cadillac used the Rolex 24 on Daytona to unveil the 2022 CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwings, ahead of their official debut on February 1 at 7pm ET.
As you can see, both models reflect their mainstream counterparts, but are characterized by aggressive front fittings with larger air inlets and special tubes.
The changes do not stop there, because the cars have an aerodynamic body that contains a front divider, a rear spoiler and canards on the CT4-V Blackwing. The models also have ventilated front walls and unique silk skirts.

Cadillac keeps details going on, but the company has already announced a lot about the upcoming models. Although they do not appear in the photo, the cars are offered with forged magnesium wheels that promise to reduce weight, as well as driving and handling characteristics.
Inside, drivers will find a digital instrument cluster and a leather-wrapped sports steering wheel with carbon-fiber accents. CT5-V Blackwing buyers will also be able to choose carbon-fiber front seats with laser-etched V-Series logos.
Performance specifications remain unconfirmed, but the CT4-V Blackwing is expected to have an upgraded version of the dual-turbo-3.6-liter V6 that powers the ATS-V. It delivered 464 hp (346 kW / 470 hp) and 445 lb-ft (603 Nm) of torque, so expect a slight improvement over the numbers.
The CT5-V Blackwing plans to load a 6.2-liter V8 with approximately 650 hp (485 kW / 659 hp) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. Cadillac has already indicated that it will enable the car to drive a top speed of 322 km / h.
Both Blackwings have a six-speed manual transmission that is ‘quieter and more durable’ than the manuals used in the ATS and CTS-V. Customers can also order an optional automatic ten-speed gearbox.
Cadillac will announce full details on Monday and begin accepting reservations for a refundable $ 1,000 deposit.
