2021 New Year’s babies born in hospitals in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) – Hospitals in the Chicago area welcomed the very first babies of 2021 on New Year’s Day.

One of the very first babies of the new year was Maverick, born among residents of Crete, Kratia and Marlon Franco, at 12:01 Friday in Advocate Christ Medical Center. Maverick weighs 7 pounds, 6 grams and is 20 inches tall. He is now one of seven brothers and sisters.

Baby Boy Canniff, whose name has not yet been determined, was born at 12:05 in the Advocate Condell Medical Center to Bridget and John Canniff. They are “excited to start the new year with a bundle of joy!” He weighs 6 pounds, 11 grams and is 18 inches tall. He has two siblings in Grayslake.

Madelyn Jessica was born at 12:41 in Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital in Michael and Nicole Woltcheck of Chicago. She weighs 7 pounds and 9 grams and is 19.5 inches tall.

The baby girl Gonzalez was born at 01:04 as Angelica Gonzalez and Andrew Spence in the Lutheran General Hospital. She weighs 3 pounds, 3 ounces and is from Mundelein.

Javien was born at 1:08 a.m. as Joseline Cuevas and Jean Rivera in Attorney Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He is £ 6, 11 ounces and has three siblings in Chicago.

Baby Declyn was born at 17:28 in Sydney and Nicholas Walden of Glenview. She was born 7 pounds at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, and is the couple’s firstborn.
