The 2021 Lexus LC 500 is a dazzling version.

Well, a new year means a new Inspiration Lexus Series Limited Edition LC 500 and again, it’s a staggering. The new Inspiration range was announced by Lexus on Tuesday and is again limited to just 100 units.

What makes the 2021 Inspiration Series LC 500, other than the serial badge, special this time around? Well, Lexus decided to give it a bit of performance in the form of a limited-slip differential and a Yamaha-designed “rear performance rod with damper” that promises increased spring stiffness. Both are optional on standard LC 500 models.

There’s also a new spoiler inspired by its design by Red Bull Air Race Yoshihide Muroya’s race plane. It’s also a much more subtle design than you might think, and it works well to spice up the back of the LC a bit. Lexus also claims that it is functional and quickly offers some downforce.

If you hear “inspired air racing”, you probably imagine something less subtle than this wing.

The car is finished exclusively in a very nice shade called Obsidian and paired with a black and brown interior. There are 21-inch wheels and a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic roof. The rest is pretty standard 2021 LC 500 things, including its lovely V8 engine with a natural aspect ratio of 471 horsepower and the automatic gearbox with ten gears.

It is said that the Inspiration Series LC 500 would appear later this winter, and although we do not have official prices for it, we would expect it to sit somewhere just north of $ 100,000.
