2021 gets Ford Explorer fresh King duds

Ford built King Ranch releases his trucks now for two decades and the luxury finish is popular among customers. Now, according to an announcement on Wednesday, the Blue Oval brings the Western-inspired luxury decoration to the 2021 Explorer.

The results are pretty cool. The interior of the Explorer King Ranch is decorated with all the hand-stitched two-tone “Del Rio” leather you want and also features real Sapele wood finishes. The King Ranch also gets leather in places like the doorways for extra daring.

Of course, there are also packages available to increase ease and convenience in the King Ranch Explorer. These include the Premium Technology Package that offers you multi-chair chairs with massage features, a 10.1-inch portrait-style touchscreen and a 14-speaker speaker system from Bang & Olufsen.

King Ranch-specific touch on the outside of the Explorer includes a painted grille insert, 20-inch wheels with King Ranch center caps and chrome exhaust tips. There are enough King Ranch badges so your neighbors will know exactly how hard you are frolicking.

The King Ranch is only available with the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 of 365 horsepower and an automatic gearbox with ten gears. Unlike previous explorers, buyers at the King Ranch get rear-wheel drive standard at the EcoBoost and four-wheel drive is an option. Buyers who want to tow well with their flashy SUVs will be happy to know that the King Ranch can pull £ 5,600 with the optional towing package.

The 2021 Ford Explorer King Ranch will be available at dealerships this spring, with a starting price of $ 53,595 for RWD and $ 55,595 for AWD, including Ford’s destination cost of $ 1,245.
