2021 Ford F-150 Raptor Teaser unveils the face of the muscle truck, debut date

Although we already know of the February 3 debut date for the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor, the new unveiling says the unveiling will take place at 11:00 AM ET. On top of that, this is our first official, camouflaged look at the latest version of the performance pickup.

The snapshot corresponds to a leaked sub-diagram of the front of the new Raptor. The Ford letters dominate the grille and the rest have a thick pattern. Along the top edge there are three thin, separated lights.

A glance at the hood shows elevated sections with black edges on either side. There is also a wide black section in the middle.

A preview on Facebook (above) provides a look at the entire truck. Play the opening of Metallica’s Come to Klaas Vakie is a nice touch about the video of the Raptor walking through the desert.

The 2021 Raptor will be standard with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, according to a leaked order guide for retailers. It is not clear whether the engine’s has the same output as the outgoing version with 450 horsepower (336 kilowatts) and 510 pounds (691 newton-meters). There will be no big surprise if Ford only increases the numbers for the bragging rights.

Judging by the exhaust notes in some spy videos, Ford may also be working on a V8 engine for the Raptor. Judging by the leaked dealer guide, it appears that this power source would arrive later in the vehicle.

You can get the Raptor in eight colors: Code Orange, Rapid Red, Velocity Blue, Antimatter Blue, Iconic Silver, Lead Foot, Agate Black and Oxford White. Buyers can also add a two-panel moon roof for $ 1,495.

Other expected adjustments for the Raptor compared to the standard F-150 include an increased ride height and a sophisticated suspension to accommodate the bumps. A sophisticated four-wheel drive and four-wheel drive system (depending on the mode) should lower the power.
