Two women in Orlando, Florida, disguised themselves as senior citizens in a ultimately failed attempt to draw the line for the COVID-19 vaccine.
The couple – 34 and 44 years old – were just moments from receiving their second coronavirus shots at the Orange County Convention Center on Wednesday when vaccines noticed something about their appearance.
Raul Pino, the health officer of the Florida Department of Health in Orange County, said Thursday during his weekly COVID-19 briefing.
“The hood, the gloves, the glasses, the whole thing,” he added.
Police have discovered that the birth dates that appear on the female IDs do not match the dates they used for the jabs, Fox 35 Orlando reports. It is unclear whether the women were disguised in the same way when they received their first shots, or whether they did so.
An investigation into the incident continues. The sheriff of Orange County has warned of violations to the women, reports Click Orlando.
