Two are in critical condition.

Eleven Fort Bliss soldiers were injured after ingesting an “unknown drug” during a exercise, according to a press release from Fort Bliss’ first armored division shared Thursday.

Two of the soldiers are currently in critical condition.

Texas military base officials are investigating the incident, the release said, but little is known at this time.

“All members involved in the incident are being held under the supervision of medical professionals,” the press release read. “Fort Bliss officials will provide updates as more information becomes available.”

The 1st Armored Division – also known as ‘Old Ironsides’ – is a famous US Army armored division consisting of approximately 17,000 highly trained soldiers, according to the Army’s website.
