SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) – As a mass vaccination door clinic is underway in Fort Bend County, Memorial Hermann, which supports the country’s efforts, 1,000 additional appointments were immediately filled for Friday afternoon.
The clinic at Smart Financial Center on Sugar Land is only available to those in Phase 1B, or people aged 65 and older. Appointments can only be made via Memorial Hermann’s portal website.
According to the hospital, the appointment was from 12:00 to 17:15. It is no longer available.
The clinic is up and running earlier this week, with approximately 16,000 COVID-19 vaccines expected to be administered.
On Thursday, SkyEye caught a fast-moving car and individuals outside vehicles waiting to be vaccinated.
