10 worst video games of 2020 (according to Metacritic)

With the end of the year, many fans of the game reflect on the best games in 2020. Although some titles scored the best points, such as Persona 5 Royal and The Last of Us Past 2, there were also AAA and indie games flying with fans and critics, and according to Metacritic, they find themselves at the bottom of the stack.

The best and worst games of Metacritic’s year are determined by the ratings collected on 1 platforms through December 1 on all platforms. Hades twice in the top 10 for the year, both on PC and Nintendo Switch, for overall success on both platforms. Indie games have a harder time achieving top classes as their developers are often less well known and therefore have more to prove against established developers and popular game series. While indie games like Hades and Between us was able to rise in popularity, there are only so many who have achieved painfully low.

There are many factors that can cause a match among both fans and judges to score weak points. Titles that do not deliver a coherent story, have poor game mechanics, or lack something unique to stand out against other games tend to fall apart. It’s hard for anyone to play a game riddled with bugs and errors or with controls so broken players can not enjoy the experience. Below is the list, according to Metacritic, of the worst games from 2020 to 2020.

Metacritic’s Worst Games of 2020: # 10 Elder Scrolls Blades (Switch)

Elderly roll blades released on May 14 for the Nintendo Switch, giving Bethesda fans a chance to experience another title on the portable platform. Fans, however, were met with a less than incredible haven that felt laborious and uninteresting. For players hoping for a different Skyrim experience for the Nintendo Switch, was not it, and deserves a Metacritic score of 42 to match the disappointment.

With a boring storyline and a world without things to do, Apparently scored a 42 on Metacritic.

The worst Metacritic games of 2020: Street Power Soccer # 8 (PS4)

There are a large number of sports video games on the market, which means new titles need to stand out from the crowd. Street Power Soccer for the PS4 it managed to grab gamers’ attention, but not in a good way. The gaming sport in particular has graphic versions for a title that appeared this year, and reviewers found the content boring and the price of $ 30 not worth it. It scored a 41 on Metacritic.
