KANSAS CITY, Mo. A man from Kansas City, Missouri, died and three children were seriously injured after an accident in Clinton County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 48-year-old Scott Ford was driving from the 40-mile northbound exit to the North I-35 when he hit a northbound vehicle just after midnight on New Year’s Day.
Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three children aged 3 to 14 were in the other vehicle and sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Another accident happened when a third vehicle heading north hit the two vehicles after the fatal crash. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Cameron Regional.
