1.07, Patch Notes, Release Date, File Size,

It is safe to say that Cyberpunk 2077 did not live up to expectations, although it was still a very fun game.

Many of the things promised in the game are missing, and CD Project Red spent most of December saving their reputation.

January 2021 Patch

The next update for the game, the 1.07 update, comes in January 2021.

This is followed by a major content update in February.

NUMBER 1: Despite the controversy, Cyberpunk has become a top seller.

These two updates are said to ‘solve the most important issues’ when it comes to the latest gene gates.

Issue Date

No official release date has yet been given for the patch, only that it will arrive in January.

Since CD Project Red is currently in damage control mode, it would make sense for the update to come sooner rather than later.

It is therefore likely that the update will take place within the next week or two.

Paste notes

Update 1.07 does not have any formal patch notes yet, but we expect it to be much larger than the previous patch, Update 1.06.

Update 1.06 was a major update that addressed many issues.

Solutions include:

  • Dum Dum will no longer go missing during the entrance of Totentanz Second conflict.
  • Improved memory management and stability, leading to fewer crashes.
  • The 8 MB file storage limit has been removed. Note: this will not restore the storage of files that were damaged before the update.

File size

The 1.06 update was 18 GB in size, about 1/3 of the total game size.

1.07 is expected to be even bigger as it addresses most of the earlier issues the game has.

Free DLC

It has been confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 DLC will arrive in early 2021.

There is no official word on what the DLC will be, but CDPR did promise numerous pieces of free content, in addition to later paid DLC.
