Tom Felton’s tribute to Helen McCrory was so moving

“Thank you for illuminating the road ahead and holding my hand when I needed it.”

Helen McCrory, known to many as Narcissa Malfoy of the Harry Potter films, died of cancer.

Tom Felton, who played her son Draco, shared a moving tribute on Instagram.

He posts a photo of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 of himself holding Helen. In the caption he writes: “So sad to say goodbye so suddenly.”

“I never took the opportunity to tell her, but she helped me so much as a person – on and off screen,” he continued.

“She was always relentless herself – razor-sharp, sharp-tongued, friendly and cordial. She did not suffer any fools, but still had time for everyone.”
