The Wisconsin Hospital employee “intentionally” removed coronavirus vaccine from the refrigerator, which was investigated by the FBI.

Federal authorities are assisting Wisconsin police in their investigation into a hospital employee who was fired for deliberately spoiling 500 doses of coronavirus vaccine.

An employee at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton admitted that they removed 57 vials of the Moderna’s vaccine from the refrigerator earlier this week.

In a statement issued late Wednesday, Grafton police said the FBI and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are investigating the matter “actively” with the department.

Attorney Aurora Health said earlier in a statement to Fox News that it believes the incident was an accident. However, the employee later “admitted that they had deliberately taken the vaccine out of the fridge.”

Aurora said he fired the employee and referred the matter to authorities, who were notified Wednesday night.
