The Outer Worlds’ Murder on Eridanos DLC arrives next week • Eurogamer.net

On PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Obsidian has confirmed that Murder on Eridanos, sci-fi adventure The Outer Worlds’ second expansion, will air on PC, Xbox and PlayStation next Wednesday, March 17th.

Assassination of Eridanos, which follows the expansion of Peril on Gorgon last year, gives players the task of uncovering the killer of the famous actress Halcyon Helen, an investigation that takes them all over a luxury resort of floating islands that is trapped is in an eternal storm.

There are clues to be found using the new Disability Booster tool, alibis to investigate and witnesses to interview – including some of the planet’s biggest stars – and Obsidian maintains The Outer Worlds ‘choice-driven action by players’ to give a wide range of options when it comes to identifying the culprit.

“Are you falsely accusing an innocent spectator?”, Asks the developer on the PlayStation Blog. ‘Are you presenting a weak case for lack of evidence? How will others react? What happens if you try to convince people that you are in some way responsible for the murder? ‘

Expect to discover new pros and cons, new scientific weapons, new armor variants and a variety of new guests as Murder on Eridanos unfolds.

Murder on Eridanos will be available for purchase individually (probably for around £ 12 if the cost of Peril on Gorgon is an indication) or as part of the £ 20 expansion card for The Outer Worlds when it launches next Wednesday 17 March on PlayStation word, Xbox and computer.
