Social Media Award JT Daniels, Darnell Washington Following G-Day

Georgia’s spring game, more commonly known as G-Day, is officially in the books with JT Daniels beating the Red Team to 28-23. The junior quarter passed for 324 yards and three wins.

“I’ve improved a lot personally overall and also a lot of guys performing in the reception room,” Daniels said. “There’s a lot better chemistry you see during the spring game compared to the 180, when I first started repeating with the 1s.”

Daniels has made a number of leading plays, including a 24-year-old attack for Adonai Mitchell and a 59-yard strike for Demetris Robertson.

However, Daniels was not the only one to turn heads. From Mitchell’s breakout performance to Darnell Washington’s big day, a number of Bulldogs have sparked positive hype.

“In terms of his physical development, he has become much smoother in terms of entry and exit,” Daniels said. ‘He always had good instincts, but it got even better for me to understand where the ball was going to be thrown. To understand where his grass is and to really take advantage of its size. ”

Washington ended the game with four catches for 84 yards and an attack on the day.

Georgia fans also got their first look at Brock Vandagriff as the five-star eighth-man made his debut. He, along with Carson Beck and Stetson Bennett, will compete for the rugby quarterback this fall.

The national media also took note of Georgia’s spring game, with great praise that Daniels addressed and what he could possibly bring to the Georgia offense.

The Bulldogs participated 4-0 last season with Daniels as an appetizer because he hit ten times in that win.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart also presented his thoughts on the day.

“Has a long way to go where we need to go,” Smart said. ‘We need to find depth in some positions and in some other positions we need to get better. “

The Bulldogs have plenty of time to put things together, as Georgia will have another 140 days until they tackle the field against the Clemson Tigers next time. The match, which is set to be a top-10 team match, will be hosted on September 4 in Charlotte, NC.
