Capcom will release new details on Resident Evil Town, the next big game in its horror franchise, as well as others Resident Evil franchise projects Thursday during a live stream. The Resident Evil Showcase video presentation airs at 5:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM PST.
Capcom will stream the event on Twitch, YouTube Twitter, a Facebook channel. The showcase is hosted by Brittney Brombacher of What’s Good Games, and appears from Resident Evil Village manufacturers Peter Fabiano and Tsuyoshi Kanda.
In addition to new Resident Evil Village game material, viewers should expect information about a new multiplayer Resident Evil game being released on the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Capcom has also released a new animated series called Resident Evil Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, coming to Netflix in 2021, and a new live-action movie is expected to hit theaters.
Resident Evil Village was announced in June during Sony’s unveiling event on PlayStation 5. The game is coming to PS5, Windows PC and Xbox One sometime this year. Town will be a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard; it shares the game’s protagonist, Ethan Winters, and his first-person perspective.
