The Kia EV6 is a lightweight all-terrain vehicle developed on a new modular e-GMP platform dedicated to vehicles and batteries. The surcorean manufacturer will inaugurate with this model the new nomenclature system for its electric car futures. The prefix ‘EV’ means ‘electric vehicle’ in English, while the number corresponds to the position of the car in the range.

Today he has not revealed the technical details of the car, but he knows that the e-GMP platform can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.5 seconds and can offer about 500 kilometers of autonomy. On this platform is the new Hyundai electric coach, Ioniq 5, presented in February.

As for the interior of the Kia EV6, the assistants are equipped with modern models made with plastic recycled and the car has more space in comparison with the electric models of the market. The new car is driven by its high-tech curve and high definition audio, video and navigation (AVN) curve, which has the ability to adjust the ventilation, ventilation and air conditioning.

“The EV6, being the first KIA electric vehicle with a dedicated platform, is a progressive design centered on the human and electrified power. We firmly believe that the EV6 is a convenient and relevant model for the new vehicle market. communicated by Karim Habib, Senior Vice President and Chief of the Company’s Global Diseño Center.

The world stage of the coach is scheduled for the finals of March during a virtual event.
